The Sequim Area: Big Sky meets the Pacific

The Sequim area is unique on the Pacific coast for many reasons. It is here that glaciated mountain peaks loom the highest and closest to the salt water. It is here that the climate is dry and relatively sunny. A recent study showed over five times the measured sunlight in Sequim than Redmond, Washington during a three week period in February, 2004. It is here that offers wide open spaces and vistas reminiscent of places like Montana or Colorado, yet with the mighty Pacific right at hand.

Sequim is also more than natural beauty. Its a thriving and growing community that offers many choices in retail, entertainment, or dining. It is also an idea base for short day trips to fascinating destinations such as Port Townsend, Victoria, BC, Neah Bay, or the Olympic National Park.
